Forward Festival goes Online again & wants creatives from all over the world to join!

Erik Kessels returns, after last year’s big success, with the Forward Online Festival where top creatives come to together to talk, give workshops and interact with its audience from all over the world. The festival takes place from the 10th till the 12th of March and features names such as Oliviero Toscani, Paula Scher, Mirko Borsche and Johanna Jaskowska.

The festival been established in 2015 with the main goal of exchanging and inspiring one another in the creative industry, be it photography, graphic design, typography, architecture, marketing and branding or artificial intelligence. During these troubling and challenging times it’s important to reclaim our imagination and be ridiculously creative. Othmar Handl, founder and CEO of Forward, wants for this year’s Forward Festival that creatives will gain the confidence to take risks and cross borders again.

“We want to show creativity in all its various forms. We have to move away from only presenting the seemingly perfect front of ourselves and our works and start to feel comfortable with showing the chaotic and raw processes in our metaphorical backyard.”

To show us that the road to success is not a cute perfectly paved path, but rather a rocky passage with lots of annoying loose cobblestones (that make you trip once in a while), this year’s Forward Online Festival inspires us to be audacious and determined. The attending speakers talk about their own failures and successes and leave no room for taboo.

This is the perfect place to gain more knowledge and experience for creatives from every level, you could be experienced, inexperienced, young, old, be sure of what you want or totally have no clue. Everyone’s welcome to join the livestreams, workshops and Q&A ’s. As mentioned earlier, the festival takes place from the 10th till the 12th of March and is accompanied by the comfort of your own home.
