Fräulein Crush: Aesop ‘Eidesis’

vor 1 year

There are items that we like, and there are items that we love.

There are items we collectively laugh over, bond over, swoon over, and there are definitely pieces we are singularly obsessed with.

Continuing the exploration of scents, Aesop has now crafted a new scent called Eidesis, that is based on myths and hypnotizing ingredients. A rich, woody fragrance that tells the story of Narcissus. Eidesis symbolizes a rivalry between the inner and outer worlds of the individual. In the symbolism of the myth of Narcissus, Eidesis honors the enchanted worlds beyond the reflection, combining floral notes reminiscent of the surface of a lake or a mirror with an earthy, woody base of vetiver, sandalwood and cedar. The perfume is a collection of unique fragrances created with Barnabé Fillion, under the title Othertopias, a collection of fragrances inspired by spaces far from the norm. Just like the other fragrances in the collection, Eidesis was developed for those who are looking for complex and unique aromas that know no gender roles. These fragrances invite us to dialogue with nature, challenge our perception and inspire us to dream. Eidesis Eau de Parfum appears beautiful and calm at the same time. It is available in an amber glass bottle, packaged in a box with unique motifs by Jack Coulter, a painter from Belfast. The bottle is clean, simple and high quality and thus reinforces the use for all genders. This attracting fragrance is like a window to nature, to a parallel world that is both physical and fantastic, inviting a dialogue with parts of the world that we do not consciously perceive. Eidesis is giving its wearer a real powerful and mysterious touch, that attracts attention.
