There are items that we like, and there are items that we love.

There are items we collectively laugh over, bond over, swoon over, and there are definitely pieces we are singularly obsessed with.

This week’s Fräulein Crush is especially close to our hearts, because Marina Raphael and Doina Ciobanu’s bags don’t just look good – they do good too. The two designers have teamed up to present a capsule collection of three handbags made from vegan, organic, recycled and sustainably sourced materials, setting new standards for ecological and ethical considerations.

Rounding out the collection’s environmental responsibility and neutralising its carbon footprint, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of each bag will be used to offset production and logistic impacts. For every Doina bag purchased the design-duo pledge their commitment to the environment by donating to Wells for Zoe, a voluntary organization in Malawi that plants indigenous trees across the country.

But the bags of the design duo are also at the forefront of design. The classic accessories, in neutral tones of white, khaki, black, and brown, is this Fall / Winter season’s must-have.
