Gucci presents: GucciFest

vor 3 years

This season, Gucci decided not to show their upcoming Spring Summer collection during the Fashion Week month of September. Instead, they organized GucciFest: a whole week dedicated to presenting Alessandro Michele’s creative vision.

The innovative digital fashion and film festival will be running from 16 to 22 November. Titled Ouverture of Something that Never Ended, the main works are seven episodes of a mini-series, published daily, shot in Rome and co-directed by the filmmaker Gus Van Sant and Alessandro Michele. Starring actress, artist and performer Silvia Calderoni as she encounters international talents in a surreal daily routine in the city. The line-up of the featured friends will include all of Gucci’s favorites: Arlo Parks, Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, Sasha Waltz, Jeremy O. Harris, Florence Welch, and many more.

GucciFest will be screening fashion films celebrating the works of fifteen independent, emerging young designers, selected by creative director Alessandro Michele. Across different digital platforms GucciFest can be streamed: On YouTube Fashion, Weibo, Gucci YouTube and on the dedicated site GucciFest.com. It is worth checking in everyday, as there are new parts of the collection released gradually.

Below we have the first teaser for the first instalment of the festival, entitled AT HOME.

Stay tuned for more!
