A Love Letter to Women: Introducing the Fräulein Award

Today, on International Women’s Day, I am incredibly proud and excited, as Editor-in-Chief of Fräulein Magazine, to announce something very special: For the very first time, we will present the Fräulein Award.

This award celebrates women and their outstanding achievements – women who are shaping the world around us. Not only in politics, business, sports, media, or culture, but everywhere where vision, courage, and authenticity make a difference.

The Fräulein Award is more than a prize. It is a platform. A platform to amplify the voices of women who inspire others through their strength, their honesty, and their determination. Women who change the world in big and small ways. Women who open doors for others. Women who give hope and courage to keep going – until every woman can live in a world of freedom, respect, and equality.

The award winners will be selected by a remarkable jury of 30 outstanding women from different fields.

But something is especially important to us: We want to hear from you.

We invite you to send us your nominations and share the stories of women who inspire you – women whose work might otherwise remain unseen. Women you find extraordinary, for whatever reason.

This is not about fame. Of course, well-known and celebrated women are welcome to be nominated – but this award is just as much about the women who make a difference quietly, every day, far from the spotlight.

I am thrilled to begin this new adventure together with you.

My hope is that the Fräulein Award will become a powerful sign – one that moves us closer to a world where young women feel inspired, heard, respected, and empowered.

This award is, above all, a love letter to women – celebrating them in all their diversity, regardless of their fame, background, or profession.

Let’s celebrate the women who shape our world. And let’s make their stories heard.
