Desigual and Ottolinger come together for a collaboration that feels surprisingly natural. Long before it became official, Christa Bösch and Cosima Gadient were already sourcing vintage Desigual pieces second-hand, taking them apart and rebuilding them through Ottolinger’s own deconstructive language. Now, that process becomes the collection itself. Deadstock garments from Desigual’s Barcelona archive are cut up, recombined and transformed into new pieces, with some styles reconstructed by hand in extremely limited quantities. The result sits somewhere between both brands without flattening either one: Desigual’s colour and graphics remain visible, while Ottolinger brings the disruption. Less archive revival, more archive as raw material.

L’ARTISAN PARFUMEUR: Abyssae Extrait

Abyssae Extrait captures this patiently concentrated essence. Through her interpretation, perfumer Daphné Bugey magnifies its richness, heightening every contrast until each nuance emerges with striking clarity. Beneath the sea lies a hidden, untouched world where a garden blooms in preserved darkness, shaped by time rather than light. Free from surface laws, its flowers have changed color, resins have densified, corals resemble plants, and abyssal stones retain a subtle warmth.

Tempelhofer Feld Festival

On Friday, September 4, Tempelhofer Feld will host a public celebration from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM, featuring live music, readings, and various activities. Notable participants include Jella Haase, Luisa Neubauer, and Ton Steine Scherben. Organized by the Tempelhofer Feld Bleibt initiative, the event aims to advocate for the preservation of Tempelhofer Feld. Admission is free and open to all.

PRENZLAUER BERGINALE

The Prenzlauerberginale is Berlin’s only neighborhood-focused film festival, celebrating its 10th anniversary every Tuesday throughout September 2026 at the Filmtheater am Friedrichshain. The 2026 edition focuses on “The Fall of the Berlin Wall, the Post-Reunification Era, and Youth in Prenzlauer Berg.”It features rare archival footage, historical DEFA classics, and documentaries about the local district, including works by acclaimed directors like Volker Koepp and Frank Beyer.

AUTUMN ON INSTINCT

For its new Autumn collection, & Other Stories looks at the season through the rhythm and contrasts of city life. References from different decades come together without following a fixed formula, mixing classic influences with unexpected details and a more instinctive approach to styling. Neutral tones are interrupted by flashes of red, lilac and violet, while contrasting textures and patterns bring another layer of tension. The idea is less about presenting one defined look for autumn and more about creating a wardrobe that leaves room for personality, spontaneity and individual interpretation.
