The independent French-British musician, who splits her time between Los Angeles and Paris, has amassed millions of streams since debuting in 2021, and her first album, “The Loose Screws,” was praised by BBC 6 Music, Clash and Crack. She has supported Babe Rainbow on tour, collaborated with Chanel, Celine and Chloé, and recently covered Nirvana’s “On A Plain” for A Tribute to Nirvana – The Songs of MTV Unplugged. THE WEDDING: OONA & DAVID THE WEDDING: OONA & DAVID — Til the Cameras Do Us Part, is the final chapter of artist OONA’s ongoing project Dear David: A Surveillance Love Story which is taking place on October 16 in Storeditch Arts Club, London. Created entirely from the artist’s own CCTV footage captured on the London Underground, the project culminates in a staged wedding between OONA and David, the Transport for London CCTV Data Manager with whom she has corresponded over several years. The performance will be followed by a panel discussion led by writer and The Second-Guess co-founder Anika Meier, exploring visibility, representation and the ways women are seen — and not seen — within contemporary visual culture.
