NIZO YAMAMOTO – MASTER OF THE ANIME–SCENOGRAPHY

The Museum für Architekturzeichnung in Berlin presents the first comprehensive exhibition outside Japan on Nizo Yamamoto (1953–2023), the art director behind the backgrounds of Castle in the Sky, Grave of the Fireflies, Princess Mononoke and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. On view from 3 October 2026 to 10 January 2027, the show is curated by Stefan Riekeles and continues the museum’s series on anime background art.

TIFFANY & CO. WELCOME AMANDA SEYFRIED WITH CAMPAIGN MOVIE

Tiffany & Co. welcomes actress Amanda Seyfried as its new brand ambassador, introducing her in the Holiday 2026 campaign “Love Is a Gift” and its short film “You & Me.” Directed by Academy Award®-nominated Derek Cianfrance, the film moves between present-day New York and a Christmas memory from December 1992, following a hand-painted Bird on a Rock ornament, inspired by Jean Schlumberger’s 1965 design, as it passes from mother to daughter. Set to a reimagining of The Wannadies’ “You & Me Song,” it celebrates gifts that become heirlooms carrying memories and traditions across generations. “You & Me” premieres on October 28, 2026, on Tiffany & Co.’s channels.

SARAH ILLENBERGER STONE CALENDER “ON THE ROCK”

Moving between art, design and illustration, Sarah Illenberger turns the everyday into the extraordinary, using a refined feel for materials to transform familiar things into new objects and installations. Her almost iconic Stone Calendar returns for 2027, with a strong focus on stones that also runs through her photo series ON THE ROCKS and her work with Schrems + Co. Having discovered her love of stones in Forte dei Marmi near Carrara, while splitting her time between Berlin and Italy, Illenberger presents stones that seem to have found each other: they wobble, threaten to tip, and yet hold their balance.

BAPARI NEW SINGLE RELEASE “PRETENDER”

On October 27, the LA based musician BAPARI released their first single PRETENDER for their upcoming EP. Working with FKA Twigs multiple times, they are now constantly developing their own productions.
