Fräulein Crush: Camper Kobarah sandals

vor 1 Monat

There are items that we like, and there are items that we love.

THERE ARE ITEMS WE COLLECTIVELY LAUGH OVER, BOND OVER, SWOON OVER, AND THERE ARE DEFINITELY PIECES WE ARE SINGULARLY OBSESSED WITH.

Footwear is slowly breaking away from gender preconceptions, KOBARAH, Camper’s heeled sandal, now presents itself as a gender-neutral style with an expanded size range and four distinctive colorways: white, green, black and orange. Like a snake, KOBARAH wraps around the foot with its rounded design, crossing over the front of the foot twice to keep it secure. Inspired by cobras, as the name suggests, the eco friendly shoes feature a slingback design and an modern twisted block heel.  KOBARAH is manufactured using the closed-loop principle: The sandal can be easily disassembled into its components after its last wear, recycled and transformed into something new. The sandal is made from a single EVA molded piece to reduce waste and energy consumption, and has an XL EXTRALIGHT Organic outsole made from 30% bio-based sugar cane, a renewable resource that makes us less dependent on virgin plastics and reduces our environmental impact. At the end of their life, Camper will take worn out shoes back to be ground down and used as a new outsole or shoe. Made from fully recyclable material, the wide heeled sandal is modern casual, contemporary and totally unique.
