FRÄULEIN’S CRUSH: Louis Vuitton CITY GUIDE BOOKS

vor 4 years
There are items that we like, and there are items that we love. There are items we collectively laugh over, bond over, swoon over, and there are definitely pieces we are singularly obsessed with. We have decided to dedicate a weekly declaration of love to particular fashion and beauty items that may not forever be iconic or relevant, but are currently making us feel some type of way. Enjoy the latest obsessions of our editorial team. Welcome to Fräulein’s Crush!

In our third installment, we have Fashion Editor Ann-Kathrin Lietz giving us her current obsession. When it comes to beauty routines and daily styling, she prefers the simple and understated. Rather than saving money for unrealistic high-heeled boots or investment bags, she prefers to spend her money on long weekend getaways. But she is still a fashion editor, after all, and her trips always look incredibly stylish. The entire office equally hates and loves the photos she shares with us on Monday mornings. And then we found her dirty little secrets upon her desk… she was using travel guides. But not just any travel guides. Stylish, colourful, sophisticated travel guides. Who needs Rick Steves when there is Louis Vuitton?

“Due to Quarantine and travel restrictions, I have not been able to travel as much as I would like to this year. I have been camping in Germany, and that’s nice, but now that the borders have opened for many within the EU, I am plotting a much-needed escape of a vacation. I have been thinking of Italy or France, and these city guides further solidified this desire. Filled with guides to each neighbourhood, off-the-course galleries, stylish cafes, good views, best regional bottles of wine to sample, and interspersed historical factoids, this is the perfect guide for anyone looking to enrich and beautify their journeys. Bonus: you are sure to make plenty of your colleagues jealous. 🙂
