Fräulein x KIKO Milano: Art, Beauty & Joy During Berlinale 2025

During Berlinale 2025, Fräulein and KIKO Milano came together for an intimate dinner celebrating art, beauty, and female expression. Hosted at our Berlin gallery Schlachter 151, the evening brought together actresses, artists, and cultural voices for a night that merged Fräulein’s editorial world with KIKO’s belief in makeup as a form of art – right in the heart of one of the most vibrant weeks of the year.

Art • Beauty • Joy – this was the spirit of the evening when Fräulein and KIKO Milano hosted an intimate dinner during Berlinale 2025 at our Berlin gallery Schlachter 151.

At Fräulein, everything revolves around women who follow their creativity fearlessly and express themselves on their own terms. It’s a vision that naturally connects with KIKO, a brand that has long celebrated female strength and, this season, drew inspiration from Italian film icons such as Sophia Loren. The dinner became a shared moment to celebrate individuality, confidence, and make-up as a tool of expression – and to build a bridge between Fräulein’s editorial universe and KIKO’s vibrant beauty world.

For the first time, we brought Fräulein’s magazine content into our physical gallery space. The first two rooms of Schlachter 151 were transformed into a curated Beauty Best-Of: selected layouts from past Fräulein issues showcased iconic photoshoots and the women who have shaped our magazine over the years. KIKO products appeared alongside the layouts, forming part of the visual environment.

Our guests – actresses, artists, and models – embodied KIKO’s brand message Art, Beauty, Joy, which highlights makeup as a form of art, where lipstick becomes the painter’s brush and the face a canvas.

Following a welcome by KIKO Marketing Director DACH, Katrin Margret Schneider, KIKO’s Head of Training presented the newest products live on site – an especially exciting moment for beauty insiders among our guests, including Ruby Howes, Leana Ardeleanu, and Naomi Gugler.

Despite the intensity of Berlinale week, we were honored to welcome actresses Samirah Breuer, and Lea Zoe Voss, as well as gallerist Anahita Sadighi, designer Cheyenne Tulsa, painter Charlie Stein, and choreographer Constanza Macras.

The evening was accompanied by a beautifully curated menu by Taco Kween, bringing Italian-inspired comfort and elegance to the table:

For the main course, orecchiette with cime di rapa – delicately sautéed with garlic, chili, and olive oil – was served, followed by desserts including tiramisu and Amalfi lemon crumble. Prosecco, white and red wine flowed throughout the night.

Captured through the lens of Ayla Sofia Klink, the evening unfolded as a celebration of creativity, beauty, and togetherness – a Berlinale moment where art, makeup, and strong female voices met in a shared space.
