Corona made some of us realise just how much value there is to privacy. Our homes became beacons of safety, havens of craftiness, and bunkers of beauty. We stopped seeking out inspiration and decided to start reflecting upon it. Running a publication means working alongside a large team. For the first time, we found ourselves alone- not out of desire but out of necessity. Fräulein, along with our sister magazine Numéro Berlin, asked Cattura Productions in Milan to collaborate with us on a quarantine project that speaks on this years challenges, movements, and solitary beauty. We asked international talents to join us on Facetime, to give us a glimpse into their sacred spaces. Some read, some hike, some draw, some kiss. Our coping mechanisms vary, but we found an underlying solidarity in them all.
