FRÄULEIN’S CRUSH: PAULA’S IBIZA EAU DE TOILETTE BY LOEWE
There are items that we like, and there are items that we love. There are items we collectively laugh over, bond over, swoon over, and there are definitely pieces we are singularly obsessed with. We have decided to dedicate a weekly declaration of love to particular fashion and beauty items that may not forever be iconic or relevant, but are currently making us feel some type of way. Enjoy the latest obsessions of our editorial team. Welcome to Fräulein’s Crush!
In our second installment, we have our Fashion Editor Fabio Pace giving us his current obsession. None of us are surprised that it’s a perfume. The amount of bottles that fill his desk on any given day is rather astounding. He could open up shop off Hermannplatz if styling doesn’t work out. But out of all the samples, spritzes, marketing ploys and piling up of seasonal scents he receives on a weekly basis, he does play favorite with one in particular…
“Everyone that knows me, knows very well that I’m addicted to perfumes– especially in the summer. There are certain bottles that make me dream about the beach when I just smell them. I close my eyes and I can see it so clearly: a yellow Jaquemus speedo, an oversized beige linen shirt… and definitely spritzes of LOEWE Paula’s Ibiza Eau de Toilette. The scent makes me think about the incredible carefree days I had in Ibiza, channeling Freddie Mercury. And no, I’m definitely not (only) talking about the nightlife. This bohemian inspired perfume captures the essence of Ibiza’s hippie market, where you can just find the most beautiful of handmade things. An added perk: this special edition scent from Loewe costs only 70 Euro!”
