The French house Longchamp, best known for its equestrian-inspired accessories and poetic womenswear that makes us want to escape to a countryside cottage, launched a playful collaboration with the Pokémon Company.
Pokémon’s cutest mascot Pikachu is now featured within an exclusive collection of Pliage. This iconic bag design by Longchamp is a must-have purse because of its casual practicality and wide range of colours and size. The it-bag is now reinterpreted with a Kawaii twist including our favorite little pocket monster.
Pikachu brings a touch of fun to these bags, available in four exclusive versions: black and white canvas, embossed leathers, or in a numbered and limited edition. The black canvas features a special Pikachu wearing a jockey’s helmet, paying homage to the classic Longchamp logo.
This collaboration is also a virtual link to further enjoyment with the creature. Pokémon Go offers a Longchamp backpack for your avatars so that Pokémon dresseurs can stay trendy while travelling and snapping round the world.
