Back in February Kim Jones presented his first Ready-to-Wear collection for Fendi:
His interpretation of Fendi’s Italian elegance are ankle-length coats, knitted bras and skirts, and silky slip-dresses in the most sophisticated dark brown, tan, and champagne shades. Half a year has passed and the collection is know available to shop in all Fendi stores. Together with the launch the house also debuts the Fall/Winter 2021 campaign.
Shot in Rome directly in front of Fendi’s headquarters at Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, the pictures tell Kim Jones’ vision of the fashion house: Looking back at traditions while also heading towards the future. Jones understands the house’s codes and adds his own details. Stars of the campaign are the Fendi First, a medium-sized pouch bag, and the O’Lock Jewelry range, both with a modern take on the iconic Fendi logo.
